Why I started WebDelve

My intentions and thoughts behind this venture.

Sometimes, the most incredible journeys begin with a simple passion. For me, that passion has always been teaching—transforming complex concepts into digestible, exciting knowledge that sparks understanding and curiosity.

The Academic Roots

My love for teaching isn't just a hobby; it's deeply rooted in my academic experiences. During my time at VIT, I had the incredible opportunity to teach recursion to first and second-year engineering students. This wasn't just a typical classroom experience—it was a collaborative project with McMaster University that pushed the boundaries of how we understand and explain complex programming concepts.

The pinnacle of this journey came when our research was presented at the prestigious ACM Compute 2024 conference at IIT Gandhinagar. It was that point, when I realized something profound: teaching is an art form, and technology is the canvas.

More Than Just Lectures

My friends and colleagues have often told me I have "a thing" for teaching. What started as explaining coding challenges over coffee breaks or helping a teammate debug a tricky JavaScript function evolved into something more significant. Each explanation, each moment of clarity in someone's eyes, reinforced my belief that knowledge isn't just about information—it's about transformation.

So, why WebDelve?

When I started web development, I can remember myself repeatedly thinking, "I wish I had a resource that could consistently teach me new things every now and then, in an easy but detailed manner."   Well it has been nearly 3 years and even though I have learned a lot, the urge is still there, and that's why, I want to make WebDelve that resource—a comprehensive, interactive platform designed to simplify web development.

What Makes WebDelve Different?

• In-Depth Knowledge: I won't just scratch the surface. We will dive deep into concepts, frameworks, and emerging technologies. Not just how websites are made, but also the underlying principles that make it all work.
• Simplified Explanations: Complex doesn't have to mean complicated. I'll break down intricate topics into simple, easy-to-understand explanations.
• Domain Diversity: From frontend to backend, design to development, maybe a bit of AI, AR, Blockchain or ML, we'll try explore every facet of development. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, I'll try to include something here for you.
• Interactive Learning: Expect more than just text. We're talking code snippets, illustrations, and a lot more. I want to try and find the best way to teach whatever topic I touch
• Community-Centric: A platform that grows and evolves with its readers' needs and curiosities. You can ask me on linkedin if you want to know about some specific topic and I'll try my best to include it in the next edition.
